Key Responsibilities:
- Setup & maintenance of High Voltage System Benches
- Supports preparation of test equipment, software, and hardware instrumentation
- Defining & procuring bench harnesses and bench infrstruture as the HW & SW changes
- Architecting Bench technology used to simulate the overall system/vehicle
- Performs assigned HV bench tests on DUT & Support daily test scheduling
- Conducts experiments, records data, and formally reports the results to internal customers and engineers, with a high degree of quality and professionalism
- Must be willing to work in High Voltage with safety in mind
- Works cross functionally with other groups to overcome issues/constraints and complete difficult tasks.
- Works to complete tasks correctly and on time. Actively communicates findings, issues, constraints, delays, & progress to internal customers and supervisor.
- Maintains equipment and work area in compliance with local 5S protocol, keeping all areas looking professional and audit ready.
- Follows safety practices, conducts activities with high degree of discipline. Communicates unsafe situations/behavior to supervisor and actively participates in safety audits.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in setting up HV benches/Power HILs(400V-1200V)
- Experience in HV Inverter/converter testing, including electric machines, electrical and electronic systems is preferred
- Experience in working High Voltage labs
- Knowledge of HIL Simulator – dSPACE/ETAS Labcar/NI Labview/Vector VT Systems etc..
- Knowledge of serial data protocols like CAN FD, LIN & Flexray Protocols
- Knowledge of Intrumentation tools – ETAS INCA/CANape etc..
- Expertise in Closed loop simulation of Motors & other EV components in the HIL environment will be an added advantage.
- Basic understanding of MATLAB Simulink/Simscape Models and experience with HIL Simulink model development.
- Domain Expertise in Electric Drives/ Transmission systems / Battery Management System / Vehicle Dynamics
- Solid troubleshooting/problem solving skills are required
- Strong interpersonal skills and high intercultural social competence.
- Good verbal and written communication skills to work effectively with global teams in agile approach
- Good analytical and problem solving capability
