- Review the accuracy of the reporting packages delivered by entities for the consolidation process and identify ways to improve efficiency and effectiveness according to Group IFRS accounting rules.
- Elaboration of Consolidated Financial Statements (analysis of a part of the balance sheet, income statement and/or cash flow) and preparation of the quarterly earnings release, semi and annual reports like 20F for US filing & CSSF for European filing
- Close liaison with the various cross-functional departments (compliance, controlling, treasury, tax, investor relations, M&A).
- Primary contact for group external auditors - preparation of necessary internal Sox supports.
- Participation in various projects launched from time to time at Group Accounting and Performance Management (GAPM) like local balance sheet reviews, managing accounts volatility, etc.
- Technical support to financial managers – IFRS
- Master in Finance / Accounting
- ACCA qualification desirable
- Up-to-date knowledge of IFRS accounting standards (ACCA qualified)
- Knowledge of the “BPM” reporting tool (SAP Financial consolidation) is a plus
- Must be able to demonstrate that he/she can work independently, but also work as part of a team. Must be self-motivated, well organized and a demonstrated problem solver.
- Ability to work under time pressure, strong analytical skills and ability to conceptualize
- 5-10 years of accounting experience with IFRS standard required (to be demonstrated during the interview) audit background and/or consolidation are a plus.
