Suppliers (OEMs), contract packers, and other cross-functional partners to ensure quality, safety
and sustainability is embedded by design in capacity addition projects including new manufacturing
facilities, green fields, brown fields, copackers, technology introductions, execution of projects until
commercialization.
This role drives efficiency in project execution by being partner to the technical operations, supply
chain and bottling teams to enable LRP volume delivery for the OU. The role connects with suppliers
(OEMs) to build QSEbD requirements in the facilities, equipment, and processes to ensure zero-day
compliance. Evaluates copackers for core products manufacturing to support business growth.
Connects with company’s quality, safety, and sustainability programs and tools to manufacturing
capacity addition through tools and playbooks.
The position drives and support EWI productivity initiatives through risk assessment, develop
mitigation measures. Conducts validation of the process, material optimization and other
productivity initiatives which links to all QSE aspects.
Function Related Activities/Key Responsibilities:
Lead INSWA’s implementation of Global QSE’s Quality by Design and Risk Identification
Tools for manufacturing capacity addition. Conduct and support execution reviews for the
capacity expansion projects to discuss gaps in QSE compliance and help bottling and
internal teams to mitigate the same.
Support infrastructure expansion for the core as well as enhancing people and process
capabilities for new manufacturing capacities (Green fields, brown fields, copackers) and
new technologies – (Aseptic, FAB, Dairy, etc) by implementing Quality, Safety &
Environmental Sustainability by design (QSEbD).
Ensure QSEbD due diligence of new OEMs and manufacturing technology by aligning line
technical specifications with OEMs and qualify the same for commercialization.
Support Fit for purpose lines / solutions which would involve introduction of alternate OEMs /
low-cost alternatives for manufacturing lines, process equipment, analytical equipment etc.
Develop / Update QSE by design requirements for each manufacturing technology in line
with industry standards, KORE 3.0 requirement and system learnings. Ensure the QSEbD
requirements are ensured by the bottling operations for each capacity expansion project
including green field, brown field and Copacker projects, process upgrades and technology
introduction.
In addition, the resource is required to manage operational governance in QSE for the new
capacities/facilities. Setup routines and visit the project sites periodically to evaluate the
compliance. Work with the bottling owners to influence the investment and strengthen review
mechanism for the projects through structured interventions.
Ensure 4 step validation process for the capacity addition, technology introduction to ensure
QSEbD through Design Qualification, Installation Qualification, Operational Qualification and
Performance Qualification.
Support productivity improvements and optimization across the supply chain systems.
Education Requirements & Related Work Experience
8 years of experience in Technical/QSE operations in Food & beverage industry preferred.
Functional Skills:
Program Management: Ability to provide oversight and management to synthesize/bring
synergy to multiple initiatives by establishing courses of action for self and others to ensure
that work is completed efficiently, adjusting priorities, establishing management routines to
effectively track progress and identify issues, removing barriers and leveraging resources.Classified - Confidential Technical Advocacy: Ability to articulate the system’s goals and initiatives clearly and
persuasively with internal and external stakeholders.
Program measurement: Ability to develop and assess and verify unique methods of
measurement and verification to gauge the progress of the program in alignment with the
established targets.

bottling company staff, cross-functional teams, regulatory authorities, NGO stakeholders or,
customers.
