Responsibilities:
As the Head of School, you will work collaboratively with the Executive Director and administrative team to provide strategic leadership and ensure the smooth operation of the school. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

● Assisting the Management in developing and implementing the school's vision, mission, and strategic goals.
● Developing and improving the quality of education offered to the students in the school through the promotion of the highest possible standards of education,
equality of opportunity, and an environment which is conducive to excellence in learning and teaching;
● Promoting the ethos of the school through participation in the construction and implementation of the school development plan and in relevant curriculum committees.
● Supporting the recruitment, selection, and professional development of teaching and support staff.
● Overseeing the curriculum development and implementation to ensure alignment with international standards.
● Promoting a positive school culture and maintaining a safe, inclusive, and respectful learning environment.
● Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other stakeholders to enhance student success and well-being.
● Leading and coordinating various school programmes and initiatives.
● Providing guidance and support to students, including disciplinary matters and academic performance.
● Assisting with budgeting and resource allocation.
● Representing the school in external events and building partnerships with the local and international community.
Requirements:
● Master's degree in Education or a related field
● A minimum of 15 years of experience in educational leadership roles, preferably in an international school setting.
● In-depth knowledge of international curricula and best educational practices.
● Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and collaborate effectively.
● Demonstrated experience in strategic planning, staff development, and curriculum management.
● Proven ability to lead and inspire a team of educators.
● Sound understanding of child protection policies and procedures.
● Familiarity with educational technology and its integration into teaching and learning.
● Fluency in English (additional language proficiency is an advantage).
● Exceptional organisational and problem-solving skills.
● Senior Management Experience: Experience in a school environment and management of a team
● People Management: Experience of managing staff as well as the ability to contribute effectively as a member of a senior management team
● Communications: Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communications skills in dealing with individuals and groups at all levels.
● Managing Pressure: Ability to manage time effectively and work under pressure.
● Managing Change: Vision, creativity, motivation and sensitivity in developing and implementing change.
