• Should possess Project Planning, Scheduling and project execution
management skills.
• Should have hands on experience in Erection and commissioning,
Budgeting and cost control, Team Building and Training, Resource
Planning and utilisation for coke oven project.
• Should possess experience to finalise the feasible study, layout,
technology, vendor selection, Process requirement in the Basic
Engineering, Coordinate with consult for engineering drawing and issue
faced in Project construction
• Should have exposure in procurement action, Equipment selection and
delivery
• Should have exposure in Structure, Equipment, pipe line erection and
support to Civil, refractory in site execution.
• Should have rich experience in HSE management, implementing safety
awareness, Preparation of HIRA, identifying and Compliance, Preparation
of HAZOP study.
• Should have worked in both BOF & EAF Steel Melting Plant.
• Should have exposure in: steel making shop areas such as main converter,
material handling and de-dusting, Reladling pits, ladle heaters, converter
de-bricking machines, container lab, all the transfer cars, Slag yard
building, finalization of MRP for BOF slag, erection and commissioning ofMRP, procurement of ladles, slag pots, Fin fan cooler
• Should have experience in Finalization of Technology Supplier, Technical
Consultant for SMS BOF shop > 150T Converters, RH, Ladle Furnace, and
HMDS.
• Should have experience in Finalization of >150 MT BOF Shop layout.Role and
Responsibilities• BOF Project execution at site.
• Finalize, order and execute the Technology selection, Technology partner,
Technical comparison.
• Finalize, order and execute the packages of Steel Melting Shop project.
• Monitor, manage & control the construction of the BOF Project.
• Develop & Ensure erection & commissioning of BOF Project within budgeted
cost & time schedule.
• Ensure all strategic and tactical goals are met in areas including customer
satisfaction, safety, quality and team member performance
• Identify risks and put in place risk mitigation plan
• Proactively identify and highlight risks of delays to the VP Steel
• Identify bottlenecks and recommend solutions
• Ensure seamless communication among all stakeholders
• Interface with external consultants/ vendors/ agencies etc. for ensure
seamless communication and timely execution of engagements
• Any other work assigned from time to time
