Key Responsibilities:
Business Development:
Identify and pursue new business opportunities within engineering firms, EPCM
firms, and EPC companies to expand the company's client base and revenue
streams.
Develop and execute strategic business development plans aligned with company
objectives and market trends in the engineering and construction sectors.
Cultivate and maintain relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders in
the engineering and construction industry to enhance business partnerships and
drive growth.
Lead client-facing activities, including presentations, negotiations, and contract
discussions, to secure new business opportunities and maximize client satisfaction.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop tailored solutions that meet client
needs and address market demands within the engineering and construction sectors.
Project Management Office (PMO) Leadership:
Oversee the Project Management Office (PMO) function, ensuring alignment with
organizational goals and objectives in the engineering and construction sectors.
Provide leadership and guidance to project managers and project teams, fostering a
culture of accountability, collaboration, and excellence within engineering / EPCM /
EPC projects.
Implement project management best practices, methodologies, and tools specific to
engineering and construction projects to optimize project delivery and ensure
adherence to quality standards.
Utilize Primavera and scheduling expertise to develop and maintain project
schedules, resource plans, and budgets for engineering, EPCM / EPC projects.
Monitor project performance, identify risks and issues, and implement corrective
actions to mitigate project delays and deviations within engineering, EPCM / EPC
projects.
Prepare and present management reports, dashboards, and performance metrics to
senior leadership, providing insights into project status, key milestones, and financial
performance within engineering, EPCM, and EPC projects.Team Management: Lead, mentor, and motivate a diverse team of project managers, business
development professionals, and support staff with experience in engineering, EPCM /
EPC projects.
Foster a culture of continuous learning, professional development, and innovation
within the team, specifically tailored to the engineering and construction sectors.
Set clear performance expectations, provide regular feedback, and conduct
performance evaluations to drive team excellence and achieve organizational
objectives within engineering, EPCM / EPC projects.
Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical / civil or any Engineering or related field having
PMP Certification and MBA will be an added advantage.
PMP certification with a minimum of 15 - 20 years of experience in project
management, business development, and leadership roles within engineering firms /
EPCM firms / EPC companies.
Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale engineering / EPCM / EPC
projects and leading business development initiatives within the engineering and
construction sectors.
Extensive experience in Microsoft Project / Primavera and scheduling expertise, with
proficiency in project management software and tools tailored to engineering / EPCM
/ EPC projects.
Strong strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills specific to the
engineering and construction sectors, with the ability to translate business objectives
into actionable plans.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to
effectively interact with clients, senior executives, and cross-functional teams within
engineering / EPCM / EPC projects.
Demonstrated leadership capabilities within engineering firms / EPCM / EPC
companies, with experience managing and motivating high-performing teams to
