Specific Duties
Main Purpose of Role The Environment analyst role is responsible for: Supporting all UAT environment support requests / defects in JIRA for a team of 80
staff including Root Cause analysis of issues, resolution of defects, and liaison with
other operational teams for fixes.
Documenting and maintaining, all UAT environment capabilities, services and
...
functions. Including baseline and release config documentation.
Managing all UAT baseline data, including washing, re-sizing and deploying data
using in-house tooling
Processing of externally received test data, to make it available to QA teams using
our in-house obfuscation processes
Effective collaboration with other environment teams in Bangkok and UK to utilize
enterprise capabilities and engage other related teams required to implement full
UAT delivery
Learning and understanding of what detailed MI is required in order to manage the
environmental issues, and availability on a scheduled basis, and including
Configuration and code deployments applicable to each environment
Take on board and learn any new tools and new processes as part of the role
Provide administrative assistance to the QA team related to UAT (logins, accesses,
deployments).
Ability to prioritise workload once basis of role understood.
Ability to maintain quality standards and good practice across the IT and Business
organizations
Supporting QA team during both Integration, and UAT , and when required the
Business teams during testing .Area/Sub Function The main duties of the Environment Analyst role are: Analysis of release notes to prepare environments and QA teams for the
deployment of frequent releases and builds.
Active support or administration of all levels of UAT architecture. Code
deployments, config, servers, basic database admin (not-DBA level), running batch
jobs, uploading data. Reporting, Maintenance, Continual Improvement.
Use of internal tools to prepare databases, perform deployments (Octopus) and
schedule basic UAT functions.
Analyzing defects, developing and deploying low-level fixes required that do not
require involvement of Enterprise applications
Working with UK, AUS & India DBAs, DEVs, and Production Operations team to
utilize enterprise capabilities to perform changes/fix defects, in line with the QA
teams test schedules
To become an SME for UAT environments and the configuration, as per the deliveryschedule. Make sure the information is shared with other teams to enhance their
knowledge, but particularly around the WMI and Enterprise integration between
applications.
As new technologies and applications are built to learn and enhance their
knowledge and train others
Acting as a point of contact for any issues raised both within your own team, and
from any other stakeholder when relating to your team’s area of responsibility.
Managing your own performance, career and personal development - in
conjunction with your line manager and in reference to the SS&C standard
frameworks for these.
Ensure Data protection of both the data and users is instilled and observed
throughout all phases of testing and adhered to via detailed process
Produce MI that shows the relevant performance, CPU usage of all Environments and a
plan for any issues identified including Disk space and work with Env Manager to
identify next stepsTechnical requirements and

firewall impacts and required changes
Managing a large environment estate
utilized/supported by multiple international
teams.
Experience working with multiple teams to

with internal/ external organizations
applications
Resource/capacity management of a
Multiple Environment Estate.
Basic knowledge of the SOAP UI
Hands on performance of the CPU,
Monitoring the logs (SPLUNK, OPSVIEW),
Monitoring storage across the environments Operational knowledge of the Bluedoor
Application (At least 2 years, preferably 5 years)
3 years Financial Services experience.
AWS knowledge (ability to triage the APIs
configured on AWS)
Jenkins knowledge and DEVOPS skills
