If you are interested in becoming an advisor, a university degree or an apprenticeship is a great place to begin. For information on the qualifications and relevant education needed for the role, see the 'education and qualifications' section of our advisor job profile.
To work as an advisor, pursue a bachelor’s degree related to your field. For instance, if you want to become a financial advisor, complete a bachelor’s degree in finance, business or accounting and a master’s in business administration (MBA). You also need professional certifications, such as Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) or Certified Financial Planner (CFP) status. Law advisors need a law degree and should be registered with the Bar Council of India.
