Job Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing process for complex legal entities, incl quality reviews.
- Prepare statutory reporting.
- Prepare corporate income tax calculations and entries.
- Manage the group, statutory and tax audits of the entities in scope, including liaising with external auditors.
- Liaise with the other finance departments, namely Business Finance, Credit control, corporate accounting, Tax compliance teams.
- Act as contact person with local service providers and resolve issues as required.
- Acts as subject matter expert.
- Any other ad hoc tasks
Functional Skills and capabilities:
- Fluent in English both written and spoken.
- Has a "can-do" attitude, pro-active, flexible mind-set
- High level of accounting knowledge
- Working knowledge of key systems (SAP, Excel, Powerpoint, Power BI etc.) is essential.
- Is able to work in a dynamic environment and meet tight deadlines.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Possess analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Able to make sound and independent judgements.
Required Education / Job Experience:
- CPA or CA degree
- 5+ years of relevant accounting or auditing experience in a multinational company
- Process automation experience and thinking preferable.
