Job Description

HVAC Designer - Responsible for 3D modelling, design and drafting of HVAC system for offshore buildings.

Job Requirement

• Be technically responsible for the drafting integrity of the deliverables & task performed.

• Prepare HVAC equipment & Ducting layout and sectional details.

• Prepare Ducting and Instrumentation diagram (D&ID).

• Prepare HVAC Duct flow diagrams.

• Prepare HVAC piping (Chilled water/refrigerant/drain etc.) layout drawings, isometric drawings and sectional drawings.

• Prepare Piping and Instrumentation diagram (P&ID).

• Produce bulk MTO for HVAC system.

• Assist in setting up HVAC Library and inputs for the 3D model software.

• Carryout 3D modeling activities for complete HVAC system (equipment, ducting, piping, supports, etc.).

• Extraction from 3D Model and issue 2D deliverables to shop with Annotation

• Reviews and checks all HVAC design and drafting deliverables before issue.

• Co-ordinate with Architectural, Instrumentation, Electrical and Telecommunication drafting team to get required input to develop HVAC deliverables.

• Be continuously vigilant of scope growth or change and inform HVAC Engineer promptly.

Qualification

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.

• 6-11 years’ SP3D/ E3D HVAC modeling experience in in Oil and Gas out of which 4-5 years’ experience in offshore facilities with major Contractors predominantly performing detail HVAC engineering 

• Shall be proficient in AutoCAD design software
