seamless operation of PMO functions, with a particular focus on Resource and Vendor Management.
As an integral member of the digital transformation PMO team, the incumbent will collaborate
closely with peers to drive various aspects of program and portfolio management office initiatives.
Serving as the single point of contact (SPOC) and subject matter expert (SME) for a substantial team
of resources and vendors, they will spearhead digital advancements within this sphere of operation.
Moreover, the individual will take charge of leading and participating in comprehensive financial and
resource project allocation reviews, providing critical insights to the broader leadership team. This
multifaceted role demands a keen eye for detail, adept management skills, and a proactive approach
to driving digital evolution within our organization.Additional Responsibilities• Collaborate closely with hiring managers and leadership to align resource and
financial allocations with the strategic plan of the DTO.
• Develop, implement, and refine PMO resource and vendor management
processes to ensure optimal efficiency.
• Craft engaging materials for dynamic leadership presentations, synthesizing
complex information into clear, actionable insights.
• Oversee the administration and tracking of project/program finances, including
cost and benefits realization, to ensure alignment with objectives.
• Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) on contractual obligations between the
DTO and various partners (vendors), leveraging negotiation skills to optimize
agreements.
• Provide expert guidance and support in the development of Power App and
Power BI solutions, driving innovation and efficiency.
• Utilize negotiation skills to achieve favourable outcomes in various business
interactions.
• Act as a central coordinator within the PMO framework, facilitating seamless
collaboration among a diverse cohort of resources spanning multiple geographic
locations.
• Foster a culture of high performance, diversity, and inclusivity within the project
team, actively encouraging and embracing diverse perspectives.
• Facilitate raising the bar on team member performance, process excellence,
program or portfolio management results and practicesRequired Qualifications• A Bachelors' degree is required. Master of Business Administration (MBA),
master’s degree is preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in project management or PMO, as well as
Supply Chain, Digital, IT or other relevant functional experience
• Knowledge and hands-on experience in PMO operations and project and
program management, methods, and tools, including Agile/SCRUM
• Knowledge and experience of working in digital supply chain.
• Great content creation and power point skills
• Good understanding of the digital landscape and digital transformation concepts
• Familiarity with implementation of large, cross-functional projects
• Good understanding of stakeholder management, and all areas of project
management
• Highly proactive, must be a highly motivated professional with a strong
willingness to think outside of the box.
• Great interpersonal, communication and collaboration skills
• Strategic mindset and critical thinking
• Must be comfortable with constructively challenging the status quo and look
