      Role: Head-IT (Sr GM / GM level) Reporting to : CFO Location: Aurangabad  Experience: 18+ years Purpose of the role: The incumbent is responsible to plan and execute effective utilisation of the Information Technology to aid business goals.  Responsibilities:  Financial Focus: Budgeting and Planning – Responsible for preparing the budget for the department. Ensure that all expenses are within the specified limit of budget and there are no cost overruns.  Responsible for preparing a short term and long term roadmap for the IT department in line with the organization’s goals and priorities; ensure all the activities and initiatives which are a part of the plan, are within the specified limit of the departmental budget. Operational Focus: IT Infrastructure – Responsible to ensure the uptime of the infrastructure is maintained as per GPL set norms/standards. Responsible to audit current IT infrastructure to look for opportunities of upgradation / improvement.  Responsible for managing all AMCs/SLAs/Software Licenses to ensure that the required IT Infrastructure is available to the users.  End User Training - Responsible for driving (with the support of team members) functional modules training and refresher courses to enable users to use relevant modules in SAP effectively. Ensure that employees are empowered to obtain relevant information on their own by providing infrastructure and hands on training. Responsible for creating an annual training calendar and ensuring execution as per plan. Responsible for identifying training needs of users and incorporating the same into the training plan. New Initiatives –  Responsible for continuously looking out for new initiatives / systems / technology that can be undertaken/adopted to aid business goals, in consultation with the senior management. Identify, evaluate and finalize suitable vendors / service providers who can support the initiatives. Drive the initiatives effectively with the help of team members. MIS & Reporting – Responsible to review reports generated (SAP Activities/Module report, Tickets Generated, etc.) and looking for trends to highlight improvements / need for improvement. Customer / Internal Stakeholder Focus:User Support – Responsible for leading and guiding the IT and SAP team to support user departments. Maintain communication with user departments to understand their concerns and ensure solutions are provided timely, ensuring satisfaction.  Talent Focus: Team Management - Demonstrate the ability to build and motivate team members. Handling & resolving grievances of the team. Responsible for KRA setting and reviewing of the Direct Reportees. Responsible for ensuring that the code of conduct of the organization is followed by the team.Training– Responsible for driving required training for team members. Team Hiring - Coordinate the hiring of all department personnel and conduct performance appraisals and provide coaching and guidance to members of the department. Team Development - Responsible for ensuring the competence (skill matrix) for all team members and ensuring that they are up to date and in tune with organization expectations.Knowledge & Skills:IT Infrastructure Management, IT Operations Management, IT Planning, Program Management, SAP Landscape.
